The Origin of the Project
The idea for EVER LASTING was born from a personal experience.
I have never liked throwing away items that could still be useful to someone else.
It all started when I was in my twenties. I used to read a lot, and once I finished my books, they stayed on my shelves without me really knowing what to do with them. Throwing them away seemed absurd, but selling them required time and effort.
This frustration grew even stronger after my children were born. Toys, clothes, and many everyday items quickly accumulated, even though they could still be useful to other families.
I tried selling some items online, but the experience was often disappointing: several months of waiting, endless negotiations for just a few euros, and ultimately a lot of wasted time.
In 2021, my divorce and my move confronted me with a very concrete situation: I had to quickly get rid of many items because I simply didn’t have enough space. Even today, some of them are still stored in my garage, waiting for someone who might need them.
After more than 25 years in finance, I decided to dedicate my energy to a project that could truly make people’s lives easier.
This is how EVER LASTING was born in early 2025:
a mobile app designed to simplify and encourage giving away items, preventing them from being thrown away simply because there is no easy alternative.
My goal is also personal: to leave my children a cleaner and more responsible planet.
